Assessment Guidance & Professional Referrals

Help to understand whether a specialist assessment may be helpful and guidance on the next steps. I can recommend trusted professionals, including educational psychologists, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.

The right insight can change the direction of a child’s support.

Sometimes families do not need more opinions. They need someone experienced to look carefully at the whole picture, identify what may be driving the difficulty and help them make confident decisions about the next step.

This is not a generic advice session. It is focused, informed guidance designed to bring clarity where things have felt confusing, stuck or overwhelming.

Specialist teaching · £150 per hour

Targeted support for barriers to learning.

Specialist teaching is tailored to the individual learner, including difficulties with reading, spelling, writing, maths, processing speed, working memory, attention and study skills. This may include support for children with dyslexia, dyscalculia or ADHD-related learning needs; a formal diagnosis is not required.

Interventions are educational, not diagnostic or clinical. Executive functioning coaching supports organisation, planning, study skills and independent learning.

Assessment guidance

Assessment guidance and professional referrals.

Where it would be helpful, I can recommend or signpost suitable independent specialists, including educational psychologists (EPs), speech and language therapists (SaLTs), occupational therapists (OTs), therapists and other professionals. Families choose whom to engage, and specialists arrange and charge for their own assessments directly.

Assessment guidance may be included within a Parent Strategy Consultation; substantial additional work is individually quoted. I can’t guarantee the availability or outcome of any independent assessment.
